CHAPTER 26 - SONOMA COUNTY ZONING REGULATIONS
Article 08. - Residential Zones

Sec. 26-24-240. - Residential community care.

A.Definition. A facility that provides primarily nonmedical residential care for children and/or adults.
  1.Includes: family home, group care facility or similar licensed facility for 24-hour care of persons in need of personal services,
  supervision, or assistance essential for sustaining the activities of daily living or for the protection of the individual.
  2.Small residential care facility: facilities serving six (6) or fewer persons.
  3.Large community care facility: facilities serving seven (7) or more persons.

B.Standards.
  1.Not allowed on land subject to a Williamson Act contract.
